(2) Internship Scholarships at $700/each, paid in two installments (before internship begins and halfway through with proof of success)

• Completed or in-progress internships are not eligible for this scholarship
• Funds will be paid in two installments ($350 at beginning of internship and $350 at mid-term after progress has been verified)

(1) Pre-Internship Scholarship at $250, paid in full prior to the start of the student experience

• Completed or in-progress pre-internships are not eligible for this scholarship
• Per ACLP, a pre-internship is defined as a student opportunity within healthcare or other community-based settings in which psychosocial support is provided to children and families in stressful situations. Examples may include: child life practicums, experiences at non-profits, medical camps, children’s shelters, etc. If you are unsure if your experience meets these guidelines, email scholarshipcommittee@glaclp.onmicrosoft.com for help.

Important Notes 

• • These are not merit-based awards 
  • Applicants who are chosen will be required to provide proof of student placement from their supervisor within one month of scholarship notification 
  • Applicants must be a 2025 GLACLP member by the time applications are due 
  • Applications will close on 3/14 at 11:59pm EST. All application pieces must be completed and submitted by this time in order to be considered for a scholarship 
  • Scholarship recipients will be notified by March 28, 2025
