Conference Scholarships

Scholarships Turn Ambition Into Reality
The GLACLP Scholarship Committee will be offering scholarships for the annual GLACLP conference in October! Based on member feedback, cost of travel and accommodations are the biggest barriers to conference attendance, especially for students.
The Conference 2026 Scholarship Applications are now available!
Conditions of Scholarship
- Applicants must be a GLACLP member at the time of applying.
- Criteria for Students/CLAs: Anyone who is going to school/training to become a child life professional and/or who works in a hospital setting as a CLA.
- Criteria for Professionals: Anyone who holds the CCLS credentials including educators, those that work in a hospital setting, and those that work in a community setting.
NOTE: Recipients will have the option to either 1) register/pay for conference ahead of time and receive the full scholarship amount via check or PayPal, OR 2) wait to register for conference until scholarship status is confirmed and receive a promo code to cover the cost of registration – in this case, the registration fee would be deducted from the total scholarship amount and recipients would receive the remaining funds via check or PayPal.
