Pre-Internship & Internship Scholarships

Attention, GLACLP Members!

Are you completing a student experience this summer and seeking financial aid? Do you know a student who is seeking this type of support?

GLACLP is here to help! It is because of our incredible GLACLP members that we are able to give back to the emerging professionals!

For Summer 2026, GLACLP is offering three student scholarships!

- (2) Internship Scholarships at $700/each, paid in two installments (before internship begins and halfway through with proof of success)
  - Completed or in-progress internships are not eligible for this scholarship
  - Apply for the Internship Scholarship

- (1) Pre-Internship Scholarship at $250, paid in full prior to the start of the student experience
  - Completed or in-progress pre-internships are not eligible for this scholarship
  - Per ACLP, a pre-internship is defined as a student opportunity within healthcare or other community-based settings in which psychosocial support is provided to children and families in stressful situations. Examples may include: child life practicums, experiences at non-profits, medical camps, children’s shelters, etc. If you are unsure if your experience meets these guidelines, email scholarshipcommittee@glaclp.onmicrosoft.com for help.
  - Apply for the Pre-Internship Scholarship

Important Notes:

- These are not merit-based awards.
- Applicants who are chosen will be required to provide proof of student placement from their supervisor within one month of scholarship notification.
- Applicants must be a 2026 GLACLP member by the time applications are due.
- Applications will close on March, 18, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. All application pieces must be completed and submitted by this time in order to be considered for a scholarship.
- Scholarship recipients will be notified by April 3, 2026.
